Hansen HS4W Solenoid Valves are high-performance, heavy-duty refrigeration control valves engineered for industrial applications requiring precision, durability, and reliability. Designed for direct weld-in-line installation, the HS4W series is ideal for ammonia and other approved refrigerants, including R22, R134a, and CO . These valves feature a rugged cast steel body (ASTM A352 LCB) for sizes 5" and 6", stainless steel main seats, and a spring-activated Teflon piston seal that resists dirt and sticky oil, ensuring smooth operation even in dry systems. With a maximum operating pressure differential (MOPD) of 300 psi (500 psi for CO) and a safe working pressure up to 600 psig, the HS4W valves are built for demanding environments.
