Hansen HS8W Solenoid Valves are industrial-grade, pilot-operated refrigeration control valves designed for precision and durability in demanding environments. Engineered for use with ammonia, R22, R134a, CO , and other approved refrigerants, the HS8W features a corrosion-resistant cast steel body (ASTM A352 LCB), a replaceable 303 stainless steel valve seat, and a dirt-controlling Teflon-sealed stainless steel piston that prevents sticking and ensures reliable operation. These valves offer a maximum operating pressure differential (MOPD) of 300 psi (500 psi for CO), a safe working pressure of up to 600 psig, and operate efficiently across a wide temperature range from -60 F to +240 F.
